FIREFOX ADD ON’s

Well firefox ADD ON’s are quite famous and almost everyone knows about them.But as far as mine surveys goes,not many among my friends knows about them.They saw my firefox and said “IS IT COZ OF VISTA??”.So i thought to post on it.

~> What are ADD ONs?

Add-ons are small pieces of software that add new features and give realy good effects to your Firefox.They can change a hell lot of things in your firefox.They can add SEARCH ENGINES, ONLINE DICTIONARIES with various languages, can give new looks to your firefox by installing THEMES and many more.

NOTE:All the add on are free to use and enhances your firefox properties.There updates appear automatically when your firefox finds them.

I:When you start d/ling,you get a dialogue box showing you every detail of your d/l.This add on does the same,but there is no DIALOGUE BOX in it.A small TOOLBAR appears at the bottom doing the same job that dialogue box does.

II:This ADD ON will be helpful for ORKUT LOVERS…“GREASEMONKEY”.This add on allows us to customize the webpage by using small bits of JavaScript. All you have to do is to log on in ORKUT and there will be a SMALL MONKEY FACE on the right bottom of your firefox.Click on it and you will see all the instructions.

III:Music lovers..now no need for more clicking.A player on your firefox.“FOXY TUNES” add on will help you to do everything that your MUSIC PLAYER does and everything is there on your firefox.It just doesn’t do this, it can find lyrics, covers, videos, bios and much more with a click right from your browser.It supports every player ever built.

IV:This is one of “I LIKE” add on.“COLOURFULTABS”. This is the most beautiful yet a very simple add-on that makes a strong colorful appeal.Every tab has a different color and makes them easy to distinguish while beautifying the overall appearance of your firefox

Naming Your Yahoo Messenger

Strange? Thinking how can you change the name of your yahoo messenger.Easy it is,just follow the following steps.

I:Open the rootdirectory where your yahoo is installed.Like

“C:\Program Files\Yahoo!” for many of us.

II:Find the folder naming “Messenger” in this very root directory

III:Open the folder and find a file naming “ymsgr”. It will be a NOTEPAD format file.

IV:Open it and at the end right the same as following:

[APP TITLE]
CAPTION= the thing you wanna right

V:Save the file and reset your yahoo messenger.

VI: Done and now show it to your friends
